Slovakia: Look from the Bridge

This wide-ranging, perceptive and intriguing snapshot of Slovakian contemporary art constitutes the newest piece in the great Imago Mundi mosaic, with a collection dedicated to one of the youngest nations in Europe. A land of majestic peaks and fertile valleys, wide rivers like the Danube and fast-flowing torrents that are reflected in the 143 artworks, fruit of the work of a creative community where art is an instrument of social and political critique, focusing on gender issues, individual and collective memory, observations on globalization. Proof that in Slovakia, as in the rest of the world, Art provides a space for freedom, vision and reflection
